ONDE NOSTRE is a group of Italian surfers, filmmakers, photographers and commentators, which aims to preserve and promote the spirit of surfing.
ONDE NOSTRE is also the title of Italy's first surf movie produced by Block 10 in 2010. The project itself kicked off with the movie, which has been selected for several film festivals dedicated to surfing around the world, thus becoming a cult in the Italian surf scene. This was followed by a series of short films called SURF PORTRAITS, collected in a 60-minute work which explores this sport's culture through surfers connected to the Italian world.
In 2014, the ONDE NOSTRE project is enriched with a new chapter: PENINSULA, a 50-minute documentary on the world of surfing in Italy, about its history and its current status. PENINSULA is the result of 2 years of film shooting throughout Italy only using 35 mm, 16 mm and Super 8 film. The movie also contains unique archival footage provided by some of the pioneers of Italian surf.
In 2015, it's time for a photo book containing a collection of shots taken in the previous five years by the group.
The encounter between Sundek and Onde Nostre gives life to a spring/summer 2016 capsule collection for men: Sundek-Onde Nostre. This is a special T-shirts and swimsuit collection inspired by the many images collected inside the book-project of the group.
